From September 2002 to March 2026, I worked on the Hanford Waste Treatment Immobilization Plant, more commonly known as WTP. Over the decades on the project, I supported and worked with numerous departments and functions, with various job titles. I was frequently described as friendly, approachable, and adaptable. A core value of mine is a willingness and readiness to help. I observe, hear, and attempt to understand what the issue or goal is, asking questions, researching options, and offering ideas. My hope with any item is to help with a collaborative path or solution.

I was a Document Control Clerk, Discipline Specialist, Document Technical Specialist, Engineering Procurement Technical Assistant, Administrative Specialist, and Programs Development Specialist. I worked in Document Control, Office & Administrative Services, Engineering, and Safety & Health. I supported multiple Engineering Disciplines for numerous years, external review groups, estimating, and Quality Assurance.

During the last 25 years, I have frequently volunteered with and for various programs, both through work and outside. It likely started with volunteering in my daughter's classroom, then becoming a Girl Scout Troop leader for three years. Later, I began volunteering during Engineer's Week (E-Week) with an engineering co-worker for a few years. After that, I volunteered with Junior Achievement (JA), going to elementary schools to present the JA program materials for the grades. Some years, I made weekly visits to the schools, while in others, I conducted the whole program in one day at the school.
